Thank you for your continued support. This
has been an exciting year! Starting this Fall with a handful of dedicated
founding members our Saturday chess club has grown to over 25 scholastic
chess players. Every one of them has shown great improvement in their
chess skill , won awards and have improved chess ratings.
FUNDRAISING
We
are open to any fundraising ideas that will enable us to expand opportunities
for Coastal Maine Scholastic Chess Club and expand our Cape Elizabeth
Chess Teams.
Cape
Elizabeth Transfer Station Bottleshed
We will have the bottleshed at the Cape Elizabeth Transfer Station in
2008. We will keep you posted on this as this will be a significant
source of fundraising for chess club and scholastic chess team. We will
need lots of volunteer help for the month we have the bottleshed.
Donations
A donation of any amount will help us build a better chess education
experience and to build a fund to take the kids to the Super
Nationals in 2009. This is the largest Scholastic Chess
event in the US.
